Join our team as Backend Developer / Backend Developer - JAVA (m/w/d) in a permanent position.

The OPTITOOL Team consists of specialized academics and IT professionals who work in the fields of development, sales, customer service, and project management. We are software specialists for Tour planning and -optimization, mobile inventory management and develop innovative cloud-based solutions for logistics requirements in all industries.

Tasks

• Participation in the agile development team of OPTITOOL Software
• Conceptualization and development of complex Java applications (Backend)
• Implementation of project-specific tasks
• Further development of existing features and functions

Qualification

• A completed degree (e.g. Computer Science) or a completed vocational training (e.g. Application Development Technician)
• Experience in programming with Java or comparable programming languages
• Knowledge of common technologies, tools and frameworks such as e.g. IntelliJ, Maven, Git, JEE or EJB is advantageous
• Knowledge of relational databases
• Teamwork skills
• Good German and English language skills in writing and speaking (at least B2)
• Analytical and logical thinking
• Passion for the latest technologies and frameworks combined with the initiative to familiarize oneself with new task areas
