OT-C Software Developer (m/w/d) for ERP Systems

The OPTITOOL Team consists of specialized academics and IT professionals who work in the areas of development, sales, customer service, and project management. We are software specialists for Tour Planning and -optimization, mobile Inventory Management and develop innovative cloud-based solutions for the logistics requirements of all industries.

Tasks

• Further development and maintenance of our own ERP solution
• Analyse, optimization, and automation of existing business processes
• Conceptualization and development of interfaces to integrate further internal systems
• Tight cooperation with departmental teams for the technical implementation of requirements
• Ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability of software

Qualification

Necessary qualifications:

• A successful completed education as a computer scientist (m/w/d) with a focus on application development
  or an equivalent qualification
  alternatively extensive practical experience in software development
• Excellent knowledge of Ruby on Rails
• Fundamental knowledge of PHP and JavaScript, ideally also in Angular
• Experience in developing and integrating interfaces (APIs)
• Outstanding analytical skills, structured working style, and teamwork

Advantageous:

• Experience with ERP systems or business processes
• Knowledge of relational databases
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
