OSH Educator l Cedar Creek

Our Outside School Hours Care service, Cedar Creek State School Helping Hands, is looking for a passionate Educator to assist the service and provide engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 10 hours per week (guaranteed minimum).

You will work across split shifts to support the service’s operating hours of Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 8:50am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:55pm – 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program).

About the role

Working in a team of Educators, you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:

• Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
• Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
• Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

✔️ Team player with a desire to become a service leader
✔️ Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
