Job description
A leading medical center in Italy for the production and application of Ocular Prostheses is seeking two experienced ORTHOPTISTS IN OPHTHALMIC AND SURGICAL CLINIC for its Rome center clinic, to be integrated into its staff for the management of adult and pediatric patients with ocular prostheses.
At least three years of hospital or structured practice experience is required, with a preference for residency within the municipality of Rome.
YOUR ACTIVITIES:
- Pre and post-operative clinical evaluations
- Support and patient management throughout the clinical and rehabilitation path
- Scheduling of prosthetic sessions
- Collection of clinical data and audit activities
- Support for clinic management in coordination with the team
- Coordination with ophthalmologists, maxillo-facial surgeons, and plastic surgeons in the management of anophthalmic / microphthalmic patients
- Active contribution to the organizational growth of the facility
