Orthopeadic Registrar - Non-Training Health New Zealand -South Canterbury Timaru Hospital 1 FTE Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is the country's largest employer, delivering universal public healthcare to 5 million New Zealanders. You will work closely with experienced orthopedic surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional healthcare outcomes. Key responsibilities include: • Providing high-quality patient care in accordance with our hospital's policies and procedures. • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans. • Participating in on-call duties as required. • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes. • Staying current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines in orthopedic medicine. • Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and participating in peer review processes. • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. • Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. This is a full-time position (1 FTE) based at South Canterbury Timaru Hospital. The successful candidate will be required to work a rotating roster that includes evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
