The Opportunity:

We are seeking Orthopaedic Registrars (PGY4+) to join surgical teams within Hunter New England LHD.

With competitive hourly rates, full travel and accommodation support, and exposure to a wide range of surgical cases, this role is ideal for doctors seeking valuable orthopaedic experience in a supportive environment.

Manage acute orthopaedic presentations, including trauma and fractures
Assist in operating theatres, fracture clinics, and on-call orthopaedic cover
Participate in ward rounds, admissions, and emergency referrals
Work closely with consultants, registrars, and nursing teams
Gain hands-on exposure to a diverse case-mix in both regional referral centres and smaller hospitals

Eligibility:

AHPRA General Registration
