Renowned for its warm atmosphere and diverse menu, the restaurant offers a fusion of Indian, Tandoori, Italian, Lebanese, and Oriental dishes. With a seating capacity of 160, it features three distinct dining areas: a casual dining space, an elegant fine dining section, and a lively rooftop setting. Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and passionate Oriental CDP (Chef de Partie) to join our culinary team at Rustic House. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oriental cuisine, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene. As a CDP, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of Oriental dishes, ensuring consistency, and contributing to the overall success of the kitchen. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and cook a variety of Oriental dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and sides, according to established recipes and standards. * Manage and supervise the Oriental section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflow. * Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in the preparation and cooking of Oriental dishes. * Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations. * Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock management. * Ensure consistent food quality and presentation, meeting the restaurant's standards. * Collaborate with the head chef and other kitchen staff to create new menu items and improve existing recipes. * Control food costs and minimize waste. * Uphold the restaurant's commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences. Qualifications * Proven experience as a CDP or similar role, with a focus on Oriental cuisine. * Strong knowledge of Oriental cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles. * Excellent cooking skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work well under pressure and manage a team. * Good communication and organizational skills. * Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. * A passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
