Job Description

• You will take over the overall leadership of the laboratory with professional and disciplinary leadership responsibility and report directly to the Regional Manager.
• You will steer labor processes efficiently and quality-oriented, with a focus on economy and smooth operations.
• You will drive the optimization of work processes and the further development of the organizational structure actively forward - with a focus on continuous improvement.
• You will ensure a high service level for internal and external customers.
• You are responsible for personnel planning and strategic succession planning in close coordination with HR and management.
• You promote a positive team culture, develop your employees specifically further, and maintain constructive cooperation with the works council.
• You work on budget planning and site strategy - together with medical leadership, controlling, and management.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in economics, natural sciences, health sciences, medicine, psychology or comparable.
• Fundamental leadership experience in complex organizations - ideally in the healthcare sector or laboratory environment.
• A strong strategic thinking, paired with a hands-on mentality and high implementation competence.
• Experience in process optimization, change management, and project management.
• Strong communication skills, team orientation, and a high level of self-motivation.
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking, additional languages (e.g. French) are an advantage.
• A willingness to travel and openness to new topics round out your profile.
