Job Description

• You will develop and be responsible for our holistic SEO strategy from Technical SEO through Content to Off-page measures – and make SEO a central growth driver for Enpal.

• You will lead and further develop the SEO team both technically and disciplinarily, foster individual strengths, and create a culture of self-responsibility, learning, and measurable success.

• You will strategically manage the SEO roadmap, set clear priorities, and orchestrate all measures along measurable KPIs with direct business impact.

• You will work closely with Communications, Product, Tech, and Design, and drive technical and content SEO projects in a collaborative and solution-oriented manner.

• You will be responsible for central Technical SEO topics such as crawlability, indexing, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, and structured data, and ensure a sustainably scalable technical foundation.

• You will develop a data-driven content and link-building strategy with a focus on
  E-E-A-T, keyword clusters, and organic growth, which continuously strengthens our visibility and authority.

• You will develop a future-oriented GEO strategy (Generative Engine Optimization) for visibility in AI-powered search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) including content optimization for LLM citations.

• You will stay up-to-date, recognize trends and new developments in the SEO and marketing environment early on, and use them to experiment, learn, and tap into new opportunities.

• You will continuously analyze performance data, derive strategic recommendations for action, and transparently communicate successes, learnings, and next steps to the C-level.

Qualifications

• You have 5–7 years of SEO experience and can demonstrate proven success in increasing organic visibility, traffic growth, and lead generation.

• You have at least 2–3 years of leadership experience – ideally in building, developing, or scaling SEO teams – and know how to empower and engage people.

• You possess in-depth expertise in all SEO disciplines: Technical SEO, On-Page, Content Strategy, and Off-page/Linkbuilding – and know how to strategically interlink them.

• You work confidently with common SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Sistrix, Google Analytics, Audisto, or Screaming Frog.

• You have experience working with developer teams and possess solid technical understanding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs).

• You are familiar with AI-based work and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and have already gained experience in optimizing for AI-powered search engines, LLMs, and AI Overviews.

• You work entrepreneurially, think analytically, make data-based decisions, and consistently align your actions with measurable impact.

• You are a communicative, structured, and proactive personality with a hands-on mentality and fluent German and English skills.
