Oracle HCM Functional Consultant - Johannesburg (Hybrid or Remote)

Job description

Hire Resolve's client is looking for a skilled Oracle HCM Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud modules and a strong understanding of HR business processes. You will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, configuring Oracle HCM applications, and providing end-to-end functional support across various HR modules.

Responsibilities:

Gather business requirements and translate them into Oracle HCM functional configurations.
Configure and support various Oracle HCM Cloud modules such as Core HR, Absence Management, Payroll, Talent Management,
Performance Management, and Recruiting.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Participate in the full lifecycle of Oracle HCM implementations and upgrades, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training, and support.
Provide expertise in Oracle quarterly releases and new features, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption.
Prepare functional documentation, configuration guides, test scripts, and user training materials.
Troubleshoot functional issues, recommend improvements, and ensure data integrity across HCM modules.
Ensure compliance with local legal and regulatory HR requirement

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field.
7+ years of experience as an Oracle HCM Functional Consultant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud applications.
Experience in implementation, support, or upgrade projects.
Solid understanding of HR processes and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s) preferred
