Oracle EBS Architect

The Oracle EBS Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions to support enterprise-wide business processes. This role combines deep functional and technical expertise to architect scalable, secure, and high-performance systems integrated with other enterprise applications and cloud solutions.

• Solution Architecture & Design
  
  
  • Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of Oracle EBS solutions across Financials, Supply Chain, HR, Procurement, and/or Manufacturing modules.
    
  • Define overall EBS system architecture, including integrations, extensions, data flows, and reporting layers.
    
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and future roadmap (e.g., migration to Oracle Cloud ERP).
    
• Technical Leadership
  
  
  • Provide guidance on EBS application and database architecture, including concurrent processing, workflow, and interface design.
    
  • Lead technical design reviews, ensure quality assurance across custom developments (RICEFW - Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, Workflows).
    
  • Collaborate with DBA and infrastructure teams on performance tuning, patching, cloning, and upgrades.
    
• Integration & Modernization
  
  
  • Design and implement integration strategies between Oracle EBS and third-party or cloud-based systems (e.g., via REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud).
    
  • Assess feasibility of hybrid or modernization initiatives (e.g., EBS co-existence with Oracle Fusion Cloud).
    
• Governance & Best Practices
  
  
  • Define development standards, reusable frameworks, and documentation for EBS environments.
    
  • Drive system security, data integrity, and compliance with organizational policies.
    
• Stakeholder Management
  
  
  • Partner with business leaders, functional consultants, and project managers to translate business requirements into technical designs.
    
  • Provide expert-level support for production issues and performance optimization.
    

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  

Experience:

• 10+ years of Oracle EBS implementation and support experience.
  
• Minimum 3+ years in an architectural or technical lead role.
  
• Proven experience across multiple EBS modules (Financials, SCM, HRMS, etc.).
