Oracle DBA Coordinator

Due to continuous development and a large number of recruitment projects that we conduct for our Partners, we are looking for a person for the position of: Oracle Database Coordinator Scope of responsibilities: Coordination of the DBA team's work: planning and prioritization of tasks, supervision over SLA execution, escalations, reporting of status and risks Acting as 2nd line support: receiving requests, supervising their timely and complete resolution, cooperation with application and project teams Administration of Oracle databases (11g/12c/19g): creation and maintenance of production and test environments, configuration, cloning, migrations, performance optimization, incident and problem resolution, log verification, readiness to respond to failures Backup & Recovery: supervision over backup creation and data recovery strategy, restore tests Monitoring and Capacity: continuous monitoring of DB load and efficiency, monitoring of tablespace and filesystem usage, trend analysis, capacity planning Deployments and changes: deployment of DB packages within project processes, proposing and implementing solutions to increase environment availability and performance Patching and compliance: regular patching of key environments (e.g., CRM), management of service windows, ensuring compliance with security policies and audits, supervision over the correctness of database environment licensing Security: access control, permission reviews, compliance with guidelines (audits, GDPR, NIS2) Data integrations: flows to/from non-Oracle systems (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake) Requirements: Min. 3 years of experience in database administration (DBA) with Oracle 11g/12c/19c Oracle & ecosystem: very good knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, RMAN, OEM/Cloud Control, ability to read AWR, RAC/Data Guard knowledge is a plus Backup/Recovery & HA: designing and testing backup strategies, recovery, ensuring business continuity Operating systems: good knowledge of Linux/Unix (filesystems, LVM), network basics (TCP/IP), awareness of storage/I/O dependencies Security: access control, audit, hardening Scripting and automation: Bash/Python for operational tasks ITIL processes: practical knowledge of Incident/Problem/Change Management and working based on SLA Languages: Polish – fluent; English – min. B2 (documentation, cooperation with the Company Headquarters) Effective coordination and prioritization of team work in a multitasking environment Communication and cooperation with business, development, Security, and other Infrastructure teams Analytical thinking and decision-making under time pressure (P1/P2 incidents) Responsibility and orientation towards quality and SLA adherence Readiness for duty shifts/on-call - on average 1 week per month 1-2 years in a coordination role or as a Tech Lead Nice to have: CI/CD for DB changes (Liquibase) Experience with MS SQL / PostgreSQL (administration, migrations, performance) Certificates confirming competencies We offer: Private medical care Sports card subsidy Foreign language learning subsidy
