Tasks

• Planning, installation, administration, and maintenance of Oracle databases on Windows-based systems (Single database / Dataguard)
• Planning and implementation of database migrations and upgrades
• Restoring database operations in the event of system or hardware failures
• Analysis and resolution of reported system errors
• 2nd-level support for the KIS support team in DB incidents
• Implementation of measures to optimize database performance
• Expansion of our technical documentation

Qualification

• Completed education or study in the IT sector or equivalent qualification
• Fundamental knowledge in the administration of Oracle databases under Windows or Linux
• Experience with database migrations, upgrades, and backup and recovery procedures (e.g. RMAN)
• Knowledge in analyzing and resolving errors and optimizing Oracle database performance
• Experience in 2nd-level support and working with ticket systems
• Teamwork, structured, result-oriented, and self-reliant work are expected
• Very good German and good English skills
