Your Tasks

• Development, analysis, and optimization of SQL queries in complex database environments

• Analysis and performance optimization of Oracle databases to sustainably increase system performance

• In particular, interpretation and use of Explain Plans to identify performance bottlenecks

• Conducting targeted measures for SQL and database tuning

• Automation, monitoring, and control of batch and data processing processes using the Universal Controller

• Binding, preprocessing, and transformation of data for reporting and analytical purposes in Power BI

• Close cooperation with departments, IT, and possibly external service providers on analysis, optimization, and automation projects

Must Requirements

• Very good knowledge of programming and optimizing SQL queries

• Several years of practical experience working with Oracle databases

• In-depth knowledge of analyzing execution plans (Explain Plan) and Oracle performance tuning

• Experience using the Universal Controller for job control and automation

• Good knowledge of Power BI, particularly in binding different data sources, data modeling, and transformation (e.g. Power Query)

• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking

May Requirements

• Expertise in the reinsurance industry or adjacent insurance domains

• Experience in data-driven analysis or reporting projects

• Understanding of end-to-end data processes from source to reporting
