As an Optometrist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional eye care services to our esteemed clientele. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and ocular health. - Prescribe and dispense corrective lenses, including eyeglasses and contact lenses. - Diagnose and manage common eye diseases and conditions. - Counsel patients on proper eye care, lifestyle choices, and preventative measures. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary. - Maintain accurate and thorough patient records. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry and optical technology. - Ensure compliance with all professional and ethical standards. Qualifications: - Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution. - Valid registration with the relevant optical council or board. - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Optometrist. - Strong diagnostic and clinical skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in using optometric equipment and technology. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - A passion for providing excellent patient care.
