What You'll Be Doing:

Deliver excellent customer service and assist patients with their eyewear needs

Provide expert advice on frame and lens selection, working closely with optometrists

Maintain a stylish, organized frame display and assist with frame stock selection

Manage pricing, stock control, and patient records

Contribute to the overall success of the practice through quality care and sales

What We're Looking For:

Qualified or near-qualified Optical Dispenser (Certificate in Optical Dispensing from Australian providers) OR highly experienced with excellent sales skills

Customer-focused, confident, and able to work collaboratively with the team

Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills

Quick learner, problem solver, with a positive, can do attitude

Hours & Schedule:

5 days a week, Monday to Saturday, with a 3 day weekend every 3 weeks

Start times vary (7:45, 8:45, 9:45am) with finish times 4:15, 5:15, 6:15pm depending on schedule

Saturdays 8:45am-2:15pm; no Sunday shifts

Hours: 37.5 some weeks, 40 hours every 3rd week

Opportunity for paid overtime when meeting with reps

Start Date:

Ideally February start, with handover support from current experienced dispenser.
