What will you do?

Freedom, being on the road, and lots of contact with people. If that suits you, then a job as a bus driver could be your next destination. In this role, you ensure that our passengers get where they need to be safely and comfortably every day. Don't have experience as a bus driver yet and no Category D license? No worries. If you are enthusiastic and we are too, we will provide your training and give you a job guarantee for one of the most enjoyable jobs in the Netherlands. As a bus driver (in training) at Transdev – the largest mobility company in the Netherlands – no two days are the same.

As a bus driver, you are a familiar face for our passengers: reliable, committed, and friendly. They can count on you through thick and thin. They board your bus with peace of mind because you ensure they reach their destination comfortably and on time. You will of course drive fixed routes according to an existing timetable, but we give you the freedom to do your work your way. What we offer you:

A good bus driver is social, independent, responsible, and stress-resistant. Safety is paramount in your work, followed closely by the care for your passengers. You find it fulfilling to make a real contribution to society. A bit of humor and patience are also very welcome.

Furthermore, we ask:

• A valid driving license B
• MBO work and thinking level
• Living in the vicinity of Wijchen
• Willingness to work in varying shifts
• Good command of the Dutch language to be able to follow the training

What do you bring?

As a bus driver at Transdev, you work independently, but you are never alone. Together with over 8,000 colleagues, you work on mobility every day. If you are new to the profession, you can join the training to become a bus driver through the Transdev Academy. At our own academy, we train you to become a fully-fledged bus driver in approximately 12 weeks. We pay for your training, and during this period, you will receive a standby allowance of €1,870 gross per month. We also offer:

• Our trust: a permanent contract after 1 year with good performance;
• A salary between €2,876 and €2,931 per month;
• Monthly irregularity allowance of an average of €355, for full-time employment;
• 8% holiday pay and a year-end bonus of 1.15% and an annual gross payout of €400;
• Occasional rest: 23 to 29 vacation days, depending on your age;
• Extra days off: 17 ATV days;
• We provide for now and the future: pension according to Rail & OV;
• Sustainable travel: a (electric) bicycle through Lease a Bike after 1 year;
• Travel expenses reimbursement according to the CAO OV.
