What will you do?

In this role, you will ensure every day that our passengers get safely and comfortably to where they need to be. Do you have no prior experience as a bus driver and no D license? No worries. If you are enthusiastic and we are too, we will provide your training and give you a job guarantee for one of the best jobs in the Netherlands. As a bus driver (in training) at Transdev – the largest mobility company in the Netherlands – no two days are the same.

As a bus driver, you are a familiar face for our passengers: reliable, engaged, and friendly. They can count on you through thick and thin. They board your bus with peace of mind, as you ensure they reach their destination comfortably and on time. You will of course drive fixed routes according to an existing timetable, but we give you the freedom to do your work your way. What we offer you:

A good bus driver is social, independent, responsible, and stress-resistant. Safety is paramount in your work, immediately followed by the care for your passengers. You enjoy making a real contribution to society. A bit of humor and patience are also very welcome.

• A valid B driver's license
• MBO (vocational) work and thinking level
• Living in the vicinity of Dirksland
• Willingness to work in variable shifts
• Good command of the Dutch language to be able to follow the training

What do you bring?

As a bus driver at Transdev, you work independently, but you are never alone. Together with over 8,000 colleagues, you work on mobility every day. If you are new to the profession, you can enroll in the training to become a bus driver through the Transdev Academy. At our own academy, we train you to become a fully-fledged bus driver in approximately 12 weeks. We pay for your training, and during this period, you will receive a availability allowance of €1,870 gross per month. In addition, we offer:

• Our trust: a permanent contract after 1 year of good performance;
• A salary between €2,876 and €2,931 per month;
• Monthly irregularity allowance of an average of €355, for full-time employment;
• 8% holiday pay and a year-end bonus of 1.15% and an annual gross bonus of €400;
• Occasional rest: 23 to 29 vacation days, depending on your age;
• Extra days off: 17 or 26 ATV (reduction in working time) days, depending on your age and years of service;
• We provide for now and later: pension according to Rail & OV;
• Sustainable travel: a (electric) bicycle via Lease a Bike after 1 year;
• Travel expenses reimbursement according to the CAO OV (Collective Labour Agreement Public Transport).
