Chemical-Pharmaceutical Production Operator

ACS DOBFAR S.p.A., a leading Italian multinational in the production of APIs and Finished Products, is seeking young operators to be hired as production operators at the Vimercate (Monza Brianza) site.

Prerequisites for performing the role:

• High school diploma or professional certificate, preferably in Chemical Engineering or a technical field;
• Availability for shift work (including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays);
• Residence within 30 km of the Vimercate workplace
• No allergies to medications

Main activities expected of the role:

• Operates directly on the plant in non-classified areas following instructions and operations reported on the work sheet, for which they have been previously trained;
• Operates directly on the plant in classified area D for the unloading and packaging of the finished product, in compliance with SOPs for dressing in classified areas;
• Observes adopted safety regulations and uses PPE correctly according to the operations to be performed;
• Complies with GMP regulations reported in internal procedures;
• Actively collaborates with the operators in their team to achieve the set production objectives;
• Promptly communicates any problems that may arise in the normal operation of the plant to the Shift Leader, Deputy Shift Leader, Department/Production Manager;
• Carries out cleaning of production areas, equipment, machines, and control systems;
• Verifies in the field that maintenance interventions or implemented plant improvements yield the expected results and reports any issues;
• Supports and collaborates operationally with maintenance personnel in ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities;
• Performs process checks as needed with specific instrumentation such as HPLC-GC-KF-LOD on which they have been previously trained;
• Performs on-the-job training for new hires where necessary or in case of new procedures or machine installations (usually performed by experienced Operators);

Technical skills expected of the role:

• Good knowledge of GMP regulations and specific SOPs of their department;
• Good knowledge of the operation of machinery in their department;
• Sufficient ability to assemble and disassemble the plant for ordinary cleaning;
• Fair knowledge of the safety procedures of their department;
