YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a CAD-CAM Area Operator to be placed at one of our partner companies, an industrial reality specialized in precision mechanics and highly complex mechanical processing, with a strong focus on quality, product industrialization, and continuous optimization of production processes.

The resource will be integrated into the CAD-CAM Technology Area and will play a key role in the development and optimization of CNC processing programs, contributing to the improvement of production cycles, reduction of processing times, cost containment, and maximization of operational efficiency.

We are looking for a competent and structured technical profile, with experience in CAD/CAM programming and the definition of mechanical processing, capable of interfacing with production, planning, and technical functions to ensure high-quality standards and compliance with delivery times.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The resource will be responsible for:

• developing CAD/CAM programs, setup sheets, and tool lists to ensure CNC production with maximum effectiveness and efficiency;
• processing CNC 5/3-axis machinery programming for mechanical processing based on provided technical drawings;
• defining the technical feasibility of components and their respective processing;
• verifying that programs, tooling, tools, and setup systems meet project requirements and allow for processing optimization;
• defining and managing the construction of dedicated tools and equipment;
• preparing the technical documentation necessary for production;
• contributing to the industrialization and optimization processes of machining operations, with the aim of reducing non-conformities, errors, process times, and costs;
• constantly collaborating with CNC operators to improve work cycles, tool usage, and CAM programming logic;
• supporting production staff in operational activities, where necessary;
• providing technical expertise in defining the best machinery usage strategies;
• supporting the training of CNC personnel on new products, new equipment, and new tools.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience of at least 3-4 years in similar roles, preferably in metalworking companies;
• in-depth knowledge of mechanical design and mechanical processing processes;
• experience in CAD/CAM programming for CNC machine tools;
• good knowledge of the operation of machining centers, wire and sinker EDM machines, CNC and manual milling machines, CNC and manual lathes, linear grinders;
• good knowledge of Hypermill and Vericut, particularly for collision verification;
• competence in reading and preparing mechanical drawings;
• competence in preparing setup sheets;
• knowledge of tooling, equipment, and materials related to chip removal machining;
• knowledge of materials and their related heat treatments;
• Diploma as a Mechanical Technician and/or degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• excellent organizational, relational, and teamwork skills;
• results-oriented, quality-focused, and deadline-conscious;
• aptitude for operational problem-solving, attention to detail, and willingness for continuous learning.

WHAT WE OFFER?

• The gross annual salary for this role ranges between EUR 30,000 and EUR 40,000.

The position is classified within the scope of the CCNL (National Collective Labor Agreement) for Commerce and Tertiary sectors applied by our company.

The positioning within the range will be determined based on technical skills, specific experience in the role, and the outcomes of the selection process, according to objective and predefined criteria. In the presence of profiles with exceptional characteristics compared to the indicated range, a review may be considered upon internal approval.
