Operator, Security Operations Center

The selected candidate will be hired directly by Control Risks as an Operator of the Security Operations Center located in Mexico City. They will be responsible for monitoring relevant events in Mexico (with a focus on Sinaloa), with special emphasis on peripheral zones around locations frequented by the Client's travelers.

The operator will be part of a 24/7 monitoring team, whose primary goal is to send alerts to travelers in real-time – using main intelligence collection tools such as open and internal sources.

Responsibilities

• Tracking GPS and 'check ins' of travelers during transfers.
• Supporting the preparation of reports covering incident updates, geocercas, relevant events, unauthorized routes, and general recommendations.
• Sending information and alerts in real-time to users on route.
• Helping develop standard protocols for tracking and communication with travelers.
• Maintaining constant coordination and communication with the Security Manager and Control Risks assets in case of security incidents involving travelers, to request deployment of security elements and guide forces regarding incident location and communication with the Client's management.
• SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF OPERATIONAL STANDARDS (SOPS) that dictate traveler deployments. These will include protocols for communication between Control Risks assets and the client, intelligence verifications before initiating transfers, reaction protocols for different types of incidents, and immediate escalation protocols.
