What will you do?

As Process Operator Kartonmachine, you will work at the heart of an innovative and sustainable production process, where old paper is recycled into massive cardboard. You are responsible for a critical machine with five workstations that together ensure a constant and efficient production.

Every day starts with a shift handover. You check if everything went well in the previous shift and discuss any details with your colleagues. Then you begin at one of the machine's workstations. This can be, for example, the raw material preparation, where old paper is processed into pulp, or the wet process, where this pulp is formed into a cardboard sheet. You ensure that the process runs smoothly by performing regular visual checks, taking measurements, and controlling parameters on computer screens.

Throughout the day, you rotate through different parts of the machine. This ensures variety and allows you to get to know the entire process well. You resolve minor issues independently, perform maintenance where necessary, and escalate major technical issues to the technical service.

You work with advanced control systems such as ABB QCS/DCS and Siemens PLC. You not only focus on the technology, but also monitor safety, quality, and production efficiency.

At the end of your shift, you hand over the work to the next team, discussing important matters to ensure the process continues to run smoothly. Thanks to the 5-shift roster, you work in two morning shifts, two afternoon shifts, and two night shifts, followed by four days off.

• Salary between € 3,650 and € 4,750 gross per month, including 30% shift allowance;
• A fully paid training program to become a Process Operator A and B;

This is you!

• You possess a full Vapro A or B Process Technology, or are willing to obtain it;
• You have at least MBO 3 level (verifiable), technically undereducated;
• You can handle large, complex machines well;
• You are physically fit, speak good Dutch, and work well in a team;
• You live within a maximum of 45 minutes' travel distance;
• You are available for a 5-shift schedule and want to work full-time (average 33.6 hours per week).
