Operator 3-shifts

You arrive at the factory and have a brief discussion with your colleagues about what you will be doing and discuss any particularities from the previous shift. You start at your familiar machine, you prepare the correct materials and tools and set up the machine. You perform a final safety check (LMRA) and start the process. Before you can produce the next order, you check if the desired specifications are set correctly and adjust the machine if necessary. Later today there will be some time to further work on your training. You want to develop yourself in multiple areas, so you will be given the space to do so during your work.

The shifts at the corrugated board machine produce various thicknesses of board from paper rolls. Subsequently, you and your colleagues from the Processing department (3 shifts of 20-25 people per shift) use 7 different machines to make various types of boxes from these cardboard sheets. The Production Technical Preparation (PTW) ensures that all die-cutting and ink processes can be carried out as smoothly as possible. As an operator in processing, you work in a 3-shift system. This means that your working hours vary between 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00, and 22:00 - 06:00 (Mon-Thu) and 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 18:00 or 20:00 (Friday). We do not work the Sunday night shift.

You will be working in a team of 20 to 25 people on 7 different machines. These machines are used to make various types of boxes from cardboard sheets. The factory operates continuously, so work is done in 3 shifts.
