Air Traffic Operator

What You Can Expect:

At Rhenus Logistics, we are looking for an Air Traffic Operator to manage and coordinate air freight shipments, ensuring efficient, safe operations aligned with regulations. You will be responsible for communication with airlines, agents, and correspondents, as well as optimizing times and costs in export, import, and international traffic operations.

Main Functions:

- Manage air routes and connections.
- Review flight schedules, bookings, and cargo space allocation.
- Monitor key air transport indicators (transit times, punctuality, utilization, costs).
- Implement and maintain air transport management systems (TMS and air cargo tools) as a specialist in the area.

- Adequately manage air service providers.

- Maintain fluid relationships with airlines, correspondents, and international logistics partners.

- Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.

- Maintain accurate records of all air operations.

- Manage and resolve incidents related to air shipments.

What You Bring:

Requirements:

- Experience as an Air Traffic Operator.

- Experience in international logistics and transport.

- C1-C2 level of English is essential.

- National and international geographical mobility.

- Proven track record as a high-potential professional within their current or past company.

- Customs training required.

- In-depth knowledge of air transport management processes and systems.

- Practical experience with TMS tools and specific air cargo software.

- Good communication skills.

- Organizational skills and ability to work in a team.

- Ability to work under pressure and resolve incidents quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environment like air transport.
