Surgical Assistant / OR Nurse (m/f/d)

We, the Praxis-Klinik Bergedorf in Hamburg, specialize in the fields of spinal surgery, orthopedics, and hernia surgery, have two operating rooms and 16 beds, and perform approximately 1,700 operations per year. The range of procedures includes minor hand and foot interventions, arthroscopies of the knee and shoulder, up to major interventions in endoprosthetics and spinal surgery. In addition, the clinic houses a rehabilitation center with physiotherapy and physical therapy, as well as a back therapy center; an affiliated fitness studio completes the range of services.
Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the expert preparation and follow-up of operations and the necessary instruments
• You will be responsible for instrumentation and the circulating nurse role during procedures
• You will ensure the highest hygiene and quality standards in the operating room
• You will accompany and care for our patients empathetically before and after the operation
• You will carry out seamless documentation of the surgical procedure uncomplicatedly on a tablet

Profile

• You have successfully completed training as an OTA (m/f/d) or as a registered nurse (m/f/d) with extensive OR experience
• You are characterized by reliability, precision, and a high sense of responsibility
• You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary, collegial team and greet people with a smile
