Job description
Your Mission
We are looking for you as Operations Trainee (m/w/d) for our headquarters in Munich.
The trainee program is not a classical career start, it's an accelerator of your career. In 18 months, you'll go through the central areas that make up an Operations Manager at yoummday: from operational control and process optimization to training and talent until sales. You will act as a full-fledged team member from the very beginning and be responsible for the success of your own work input.
The goal is clearly defined: after successful completion, you'll directly step up as an Operations Manager - with complete result and customer responsibility.
What awaits you:
You will go through four central corporate areas:
- Operations & Industry Groups: You'll get in-depth insights into one of our customer programs-operatively and processually. You'll analyze KPIs, identify deviations, and develop measures to improve service performance and capacity utilization.
- Training: You will accompany the planning and implementation of training measures, work on developing learning paths with and build a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between training, quality, and operations.
- Talent Marketplace: You'll learn about working in a cross-functional team, accompany process-oriented steering of our talents, and analyze offer, demand, and market dynamics on the yoummday platform.
- Sales: You will support in preparing customer inquiries, work on proposal processes with, and develop a deep understanding of the value creation and interplay between sales, operations, and talent marketplace.
Parallel to the rotations, you'll take on your own projects with clear goals, timelines, and measurable results and can thus contribute significantly to the success of yoummday from day one.
Your Start as Operations Manager
Your trainee program is just the beginning: afterwards, you'll directly step up as an Operations Manager at yoummday. The 18 months give us sufficient lead time to prepare your transition into a concrete OM position carefully. As an Operations Manager, you will bear whole responsibility for your own customer project: You manage team leads and their remote teams, steer through KPIs, develop scalable processes, and act as the central point of contact for your customer - operationally and strategically.
Your Skillset
- You have successfully completed your Bachelor or Master's degree, ideally with a focus on economics, and have gained first professional experience through internships or further activities-vorpreferably in business operations, analytics, or a customer-facing function.
- You bring advanced analytical strength: You structure complex problems, recognize patterns in data, and develop clear, implementable solution approaches-even if not all information is immediately available.
- You communicate on a management level: clearly, precisely, and address-oriented towards team members, senior stakeholders, and customers alike.
- You are in your element when it gets dynamic: startup mentality, high learning readiness, and consistently high quality expectations are self-evident for you.
- You bring initiative with you, drive topics proactively forward, and keep the overview and focus on the result even when requirements change.
- You have interest in long-term cooperation, are travel-ready, and bring negotiable German (C2) and English (mind. C1) with.
Your Winning Deal
What makes this program unique is not the list of benefits - it's the learning curve. You'll get a 360° insight into a profitable, rapidly scalable scale-up: close to operational decisions, close to customers, and close to a leadership level that shapes instead of manages.
- Your Development: Structured mentoring by a dedicated Operations- and P&C Mentor, with regular feedback that really takes you further, not just evaluates. Your development does not end here: With corresponding performance, you have the opportunity to follow a defined career path (e.g., Industry Group Manager and Industry Group Lead). This means you'll take over the leadership of a large account or an entire industry, as already successful role models in our team have shown.
- Your Decision-making Proximity: You will work directly in the teams that operate yoummday - no parallel world, no reporting job. What you achieve has immediate impact on the company's success.
- Your Network: You'll build relationships within 18 months across all relevant functions - a start-up advantage that is years ahead of a classical career start.
- Your Benefits: 30 days' vacation, Joblunch allowance (69 €/month), Givve-Card (50 €/month) or EGYM WELL PASS, Corporate Benefits, JobRad leasing, contributions to old-age provision (bAV & VL), team and company events.
- Your Work Environment: Flexible, hybrid work from our modern, dog-friendly office in Munich, plus 2 weeks' workation within the EU per year (*applies to employees with an EU passport).
