Operations Technical Leader

The Compliance Operations Technical Leader is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily activities of the Compliance Operations team. This role acts as the bridge between strategic leadership and hands-on execution, ensuring high-quality delivery across third-party risk assessments, risk register management, audit evidence collection, and privacy compliance initiatives. This leader drives continuous process improvement, mentors and develops analysts, and serves as the technical escalation point for all operational issues related to Compliance Operations. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining processes and procedures for compliance operations; • Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective risk management and mitigation strategies; • Providing technical guidance and support to analysts and other team members; • Identifying and addressing operational gaps and inefficiencies, and implementing process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT or operations, with experience in compliance and regulatory environments. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and an advanced degree is preferred.
