Operations Team Leader (Roller/ MIG/MAG welding)

At nVent, we contribute to the development of electrical infrastructure globally by manufacturing protection and connection solutions for industrial electrical systems.

We are currently looking for a Team Leader to coordinate activities in the Roller area, one of the essential areas of industrial electrical cabinet production.

The Roller area is responsible for the MIG/MAG welding operations that form the basis of our products.

Main Responsibilities

• Organizes and coordinates the daily activities of the team;
• Establishes priorities and efficiently distributes tasks;
• Monitors team performance and provides constructive feedback;
• Participates in annual performance evaluations and professional development discussions;
• Identifies training needs and contributes to the development of the team's competencies;
• Creates a work environment based on respect, collaboration, and responsibility.
• Ensures the production plan is achieved under safety and quality conditions;
• Monitors the area's performance indicators and implements improvement actions;
• Manages available resources and adapts activities according to operational priorities;
• Collaborates with the Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and Maintenance departments to resolve operational issues;
• Supports the implementation of standards and continuous improvement principles.
• Manages time sheets and administrative aspects of the team;
• Participates in the recruitment and integration of new employees;
• Ensures compliance with internal procedures and occupational health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a coordination position (Team Leader, Supervisor, Shift Leader, or similar role) in a production environment;
• Experience in organizing team activities and managing performance;
• Ability to plan, organize, and delegate tasks;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to make decisions and manage complex operational situations;
• Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite;
• Conversational English language skills;
• Experience in an industrial metal processing environment is an advantage.
