Operations Supervisor Wanted - Auckland

Hours per week: 40-45 hours Annual salary: $90,000 - $120,000 Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of this role is to lead the successful execution of jobs and service delivery within the waste and industrial divisions, ensuring all customer requirements are met or exceeded with a focus on quality, safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The role is critical in delivering operational excellence through the effective coordination and utilisation of team members and plant resources, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard, while also maintaining a safe working environment for employees. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing processes and procedures to improve service delivery and efficiency • Leading and managing a team of operations staff to achieve operational excellence • Coordinating with other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration • Identifying and addressing potential risks and hazards in the workplace • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on key performance indicators • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring all customer requirements are met or exceeded. The ideal candidate will have: • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. operations management, logistics) • At least 3 years of experience in an operations management role • Strong leadership and communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required.
