Operations Supervisor - Durham Region

Join the Voyago team as an Operations Supervisor and play a vital role in managing our On-Demand Transit service in the Durham Region! Your Role Operational Oversight Manage the daily operations of transportation services, ensuring compliance with contractual standards and company policies. Oversee staff scheduling to ensure full coverage during regular operations, vacations, and sick leaves. Cover driving runs as required to maintain service continuity. Team Leadership & Performance Direct and manage a team of Operations Coordinators, ensuring effective communication, and providing coaching and feedback to improve performance. Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives. Identify and address potential risks and opportunities for improvement. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to measure performance and make data-driven decisions. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve operations and services. Your Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
