Job description
We’re hiring an Operations Manager to oversee the performance of the talent team and ensure smooth operational practices within a dynamic UK business. This role focuses on accountability, structure, and ensuring the team is consistently using key systems and tools. You’ll be responsible for monitoring usage of platforms like Monday.com and Workable, identifying when new workflows are needed, and communicating those needs to the CEO and CTO. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a passion for process improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** * Monitor and analyze the performance of the talent team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. * Oversee the consistent use of key systems and tools (e.g., Monday.com, Workable) by the talent team. * Identify and document existing workflows, suggesting and implementing new workflows as needed. * Communicate operational needs and system requirements to the CEO and CTO. * Develop and maintain operational documentation, including process guides and training materials. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of operational processes. * Manage and optimize the onboarding process for new hires. * Conduct regular audits of data within key systems to ensure data accuracy and compliance. * Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in talent operations. * Provide coaching and mentorship to team members. * Lead the implementation of new systems and tools. **Skills and Experience:** * Proven experience in an operations or talent management role. * Strong understanding of talent acquisition processes and systems. * Experience with platforms like Monday.com and Workable is essential. * Excellent organizational and project management skills. * Ability to analyze data and identify trends. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with process improvement methodologies. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace. * Experience with data analysis and reporting. **Benefits:** * Competitive salary * Pension scheme * Generous holiday allowance * Professional development opportunities * Collaborative and supportive work environment
