<strong>Operations Manager</strong>

We are recruiting an Operations Manager on behalf of our client, an international manufacturing company, for a key leadership role within their Romanian operations.

This position reports directly to the General Manager and has full responsibility for site operations, including Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, Production and Quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead overall site performance and local P&L;
• Ensure compliance with legislation and group policies;
• Drive operational excellence across efficiency, quality, productivity and cost control;
• Secure on-time delivery;
• Optimize inventory, working capital and resource planning;
• Implement continuous improvement and automation initiatives (AI / robotics);
• Develop a competitive supplier base and lead supplier negotiations;
• Prepare budgets, reporting and performance analysis;
• Build and lead a high-performing operations team.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or similar;
• 5+ years of Operations Management experience in an international industrial production environment (make-to-order);
• Strong ERP knowledge and hands-on leadership style;
• Proven negotiation skills with suppliers;
• Fluent in English;
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
