Become Operations Manager

As Operations Manager, you are responsible for the efficient, safe, and structured flow of goods – from receipt to dispatch – within our state-of-the-art cold store. This advanced location is equipped with the latest technologies, such as Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), shuttle storage, and high-tech pick stations. The official opening is planned for September.

You give daily leadership to a team of 15 employees, which will grow to 25 in the long term. In this operational role, you are responsible for coordinating all logistical processes and translating business needs into concrete operational solutions. You are the first point of contact for government agencies such as Customs and NVWA, and you work seamlessly with various internal and external stakeholders.

You maintain overview, monitors inventory accuracy, and ensures quality and safety. Additionally, you work closely with colleagues from sales, procurement, and other warehouses. You look ahead and translates trends, bottlenecks, and data into realistic improvement initiatives.

What you will do

• Direct the daily operation (day shift) within a technologically advanced cold store
• Lead and develop a growing team (15 to 25 employees)
• Maintain relationships with external partners and translate customer needs into logistical solutions
• Optimize processes based on data, trends, and personal insights
• Serve as a point of contact for o.a. the NVWA and switch between operation, commerce, and technology
