Operations Manager - Burnie

As the Operations Manager, you will ensure site operations at our Burnie Chip Mill run smoothly and efficiently to meet operational objectives. Reporting to the Regional Manager - Tasmania, you will be responsible for the management of the site team, production and maintenance schedules. In addition, you will be overseeing supply chains and ensuring a proactive safety culture on a daily basis. Key responsibilities include but not limited to: Co-ordinating and driving the day-to-day operational activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, managing and developing the site team, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring the site is compliant with all relevant regulations and standards. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of operational management principles and practices, and be able to demonstrate a track record of achieving operational excellence. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. This is a full-time position, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
