Operations Engineer / IT System Administrator

• You have experience (or solid foundation) in roles of Operations / DevOps / IT System Administration and enjoy working with systems that need to be stable, secure, and well-monitored.
• You have worked with Linux and/or Windows Server (it is not necessary to master both) and feel comfortable with service administration, logs, and troubleshooting.
• You have basic experience in scripting (Bash / PowerShell / Python or similar) and are open to automating repetitive processes.
• You understand essential concepts of networking (DNS, TCP/IP), security (firewall, patching, access control) and good operating practices.
• You have worked or want to work with some of these technologies: Azure(obligatory), Docker, Kubernetes, NGINX/Apache, IIS, Elasticsearch, Grafana/monitoring, PostgreSQL / MS SQL Server, Tomcat / Wildfly, firewalls, Chef/Ansible.(it is not necessary to master all — we are interested in solid foundations and a desire to learn).
• You are an organized person, autonomous, with ownership mentality and problem-solving orientation.
• English: good level (obligatory).
• German: advantageous

• Administration and operation of software solutions in cloud and/or on-prem infrastructure, with focus on:
• Availability (uptime) and performance
• IT Security (hardening, patching, access, audit, firewall)
• Maintenance & updates for OS and services
• Setup and administration of monitoring/alerting, log management, and observability
• Deployment & automation (scripts, standardizing processes, continuous improvements)
• Documentation of operating environments and configurations (runbooks, procedures)
• Implementation of technical requirements using standard solutions and integration through interfaces
• Support 2nd/3rd level for incidents (investigation, cause analysis, remediation)
• Identification and implementation of optimizations in operational processes
• Collaboration with development teams for faster and more stable deliveries

• 100% Remote (work from home, anywhere in Romania)
• You will work directly on enterprise systems of a client in Germany, alongside German colleagues
