As Operations Engineer (F/M/*), you will take technical control of the operation: you triage incidents and service requests, conduct RCA, deliver solutions, and steer escalations with clear SLA-/ETA-communication. You translate requirements for availability, scalability, and Security/Compliance into stable operation and deployment architectures, validate PoCs/Demos, and bring them smoothly into regular operation. You also explain platform functions clearly, develop business-cases, lead operational feedback into precise tickets, and improve continuously runbooks, monitoring/alerting, capacity analyses, and automation.

Tasks

• You are the first technical point of contact in the operation: you triage incidents and service requests, conduct RCA, deliver solutions, and steer escalations, as well as SLA-/ETA-communication.
• You translate requirements (availability, scalability, Security/Compliance) into stable operation and deployment architectures, validate PoCs/Demos, and bring them smoothly into regular operation.
• You explain platform functions and integrations clearly, develop business-cases, recognize and mitigate risks early on.
• You bring operational feedback from incidents/changes into precise tickets and drive stability and operability with Engineering/Product forward.
• You maintain runbooks/playbooks and documentation and improve continuously monitoring/alerting, capacity analyses, and automation.

Qualification

• You bring several years of experience in operating complex platforms/services and master RCA methods and ticket triage according to impact/priority.
• You are confident in handling Observability-Stacks and set up SLOs, Alerting, and Dashboards pragmatically.
• You automate recurring operational tasks and integrate CI/CD pipelines for stable releases.
• You have solid knowledge in Cloud- and Container-environments, Networking, and Security/Compliance basics.
• You have experience with Backup/Restore, DR-tests, and capacity and cost optimization.
• You speak fluent German and good English, can explain technical content clearly, and take stakeholders along at eye level.
