Operations-Controller (m/w/d)

As Production Controller, you analyze and control the economic performance of our operational production. You create decision-making bases for Operations, Procurement, and Management and actively drive the optimization of central cost and performance drivers forward.

About the Role

• Economic control and analysis of operational production in the rail passenger transport sector
• Controlling central cost and performance drivers (energy, tracks, maintenance, fleet, cleaning, waste disposal)
• Planning, monitoring, and deviation analysis of production costs (should-be, forecasts)
• Development and further development of KPIs, reports, and management dashboards
• Economic evaluation of timetables, loops, and production concepts
• Support in offer calculations, economic calculations, and business cases
• Drawing up concrete optimization measures along the production chain
• Close cooperation with Operations and Procurement as a Finance sparring partner

About You

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Controlling, Economics, or Industrial Engineering
• Several years of experience in production or operations controlling, ideally in the mobility or transportation sector
• Very good knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Secure handling of ERP and BI systems (e.g. Excel, Power BI, DWH)
• Strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented thinking
• Ability to prepare and visualize complex data
• Very good German and English skills
