Operations-Controller (m/w/d)

As Production Controller, you analyze and control the economic performance of our operational delivery. You create decision-making bases for Operations, Procurement, and Management and actively drive the optimization of central cost and performance drivers.

About the Role

• Economic control and analysis of operational production in rail passenger transport
• Controlling central cost and performance drivers (energy, tracks, maintenance, fleet, cleaning, waste disposal)
• Planning, monitoring, and deviation analyses of production costs (should-be, forecasts)
• Building and developing KPIs, reports, and management dashboards
• Economic evaluation of timetables, loops, and production concepts
• Supporting in offer calculations, economic accounts, and business cases
• Drawing concrete optimization measures along the production chain
• Tight cooperation with Operations and Procurement as a Finance sparring partner

About You

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Controlling, Economics, or Industrial Engineering
• Multiple years of experience in production or operations controlling, ideally in the mobility or transportation sector
• Very good knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Sure handling with ERP and BI systems (e.g. Excel, Power BI, DWH)
• Strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented thinking
• Able to prepare complex data in a clear and understandable manner and visualize it
• Very good German and English skills
