As Safety Advisor Deelproject, you are the connecting factor between project preparation and execution outside. You advise during preparation and support during execution. On one hand, this means ensuring that safety regulations are correctly implemented in accordance with legislation, while on the other hand, you constantly work to increase safety awareness on the construction site.

Result Areas:

• Preparing RI&E reports for the implementation phase and implementing control measures;
• Evaluating control measures based on the RI&E report;
• Evaluating safety during the execution phase through workplace inspections and monitoring control measures;
• Evaluating V&G plans and work plans of contractors and subcontractors;
• Supporting and advising the safety organization on safety issues;
• Attending kick-off meetings and start-work discussions upon request;
• Evaluating task-risk analyses set up by the execution phase, including any necessary permits;
• Assessing and reporting unsafe situations;
• (Co)conducting accident research;
• Preparing and promoting toolboxes and safety awareness training;
• Fostering a safety culture and initiating safety campaigns during the execution phase.

The Safety Advisor Deelgebied may at any time interrupt work if there is a potential risk to people or environment (just like all other employees). He has no budgetary or line responsibility in this advisory role.
