Operational Buyer

For a technical company in the maritime sector, we are looking for an Operational Buyer who can start immediately. You will work in a multicultural environment where collaboration, overview, and a positive attitude are central.

In this role, you will ensure that all necessary materials, parts, and services are available on time. Your tasks include:

• Ordering technical and maritime parts via the ERP system;
• Requesting, evaluating, and comparing quotes;
• Aligning purchasing needs with internal departments;
• Assisting with negotiations on prices and conditions;
• Monitoring delivery times, files, and agreed-upon arrangements;
• Identifying bottlenecks and proposing process improvements.
• We are looking for someone who can start right away and has experience in a technical or maritime environment.

What do we offer you?

• A salary between €3,100 and €5,200 gross per month;
• A temporary contract until at least December, with the possibility of extension;
• 27 vacation days and 13 ADV (days off in lieu of overtime) days;
• A 40-hour work week, 32 hours is negotiable;
• After the onboarding period, you can work from home 2 days per week;
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer;
• Laptop, phone, and all resources to perform your job well;

You are someone who remains calm, even when things get busy. You maintain an overview, work in a structured manner, and have a positive attitude. Additionally, you bring:

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) work and thinking level;
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in purchasing, preferably in the mechanical or maritime environment;
• Experience with ERP systems or the willingness to work with them;
• A solution-oriented attitude and an eye for process improvement.
