Our Operational Trainers play a key part in ensuring the continued delivery of Good and Outstanding care, as they ensure every member of staff is confident and competent in their ability to work in a person centred and compassionate manner. We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Operational Trainer to join our team, working across a number of care homes and providing training, coaching and support to our operational staff. This is a field-based role and you will need to travel to the care homes within your region to deliver training. As an Operational Trainer, you will: * Deliver high quality training to operational staff across all disciplines, ensuring that learning is meaningful, engaging and meets the needs of the business. * Conduct training needs analysis and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. * Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, workbooks, and other resources. * Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements. * Provide coaching and mentoring to operational staff, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge. * Collaborate with other members of the training team to ensure a consistent approach to training and development. * Work closely with home managers and regional teams to identify training needs and develop training plans. * Maintain accurate training records and report on training activities. To be successful in this role, you will need: * Proven experience as a trainer, preferably in the healthcare sector. * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Knowledge of adult learning principles. * Experience in developing and delivering training programs. * A relevant qualification in training or education is desirable. * A current driving license and willingness to travel.
