Operational Technology Engineer

At RES, a global leader in renewable energy solutions, we are looking for an Operational Technology (OT) Engineer to manage and support OT systems across our operational solar, wind, and battery storage assets, as well as the RES OT enterprise environment. This role is critical to ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant OT infrastructure, supporting both day-to-day operations and the integration of new renewable generation sites into our Operations Control Center. Key responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain OT systems, including network architecture, device configuration, and security protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new assets into our OT environment. Develop and maintain technical documentation for OT systems, including system diagrams, configuration files, and troubleshooting guides. Troubleshoot and resolve OT-related issues in a timely and efficient manner. Provide expert-level support for OT systems, including monitoring, logging, and alerting. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including operations teams, IT teams, and vendors. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and innovations in the field of Operational Technology. Provide training and guidance to other team members on OT systems and best practices. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize OT system performance, reliability, and security.
