At Crisp, we have a mission: to make tastier food accessible to everyone. As Operational Lead, you and your team will ensure that our distribution center in Amsterdam fulfills that promise every day: thousands of groceries, on time and in top condition, delivered to our customers.

What you will do

• You are ultimately responsible for the daily operational activities on the floor. The Operations Manager will manage you daily and will also guide you in your personal development and long-term goals.

• You will provide daily operational leadership to our Team Leads and are responsible for the operation in and around the entire warehouse, not just one hall or department.

• You will ensure that your team is motivated every day and achieves goals for efficiency, quality, and safety.

• You will work closely with the Warehouse Managers to formulate policy and ensure innovation in processes. You will guarantee good implementation of new initiatives.

• Together with the Staff Planner, you will ensure correct planning based on financial objectives.

• You are the linchpin of the warehouse. You will initiate meetings, discussions, and communication with other departments, among other things. And with your leadership experience, you will coach fellow managers from all departments.

Together with Warehouse Management, you bear ultimate responsibility for the warehouse. In the interest of this, you find it logical to work at least two weekends a month and two mornings or evenings. Together with Warehouse Management, you will ensure the best possible presence.

This is you

• You have several years of experience as a Team Lead in operations and know better than anyone how to motivate and inspire people.

• You are available for at least 32 hours.

• You are analytically strong and know how to translate this into concrete, controllable actions.

• You are critical and dare to speak your mind.

• You look ahead, are practical, can maintain an overview, and delegate well.

• You work in a structured manner, manage your agenda well, are punctual, precise, and keep your promises.

• You are empathetic, have self-reflection, and take time for people. You do not shy away from difficult conversations.

• You actively seek improvement, know how to gather the right people for this, create buy-in, and can get it off the ground.

• You are a quick thinker who can effectively solve any ad hoc problems.

• You have extensive knowledge of our systems, employee handbooks, the collective labor agreement (CAO), and understand the basics of labor law.
