Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Operations Executive with strong knowledge of insurance products, processes, and customer servicing. The role involves handling end-to-end operational activities including documentation, policy servicing, coordination with insurers, and ensuring smooth and accurate process execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations for insurance policies including application processing, policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
  
• Verify proposal forms, KYC documents, premium details, and ensure accurate data entry in internal systems.
  
• Coordinate with insurance companies for policy issuance, corrections, and servicing queries.
  
• Assist customers with queries related to policy features, premium, coverage, exclusions, and claim processes.
  
• Support customers in claim initiation, documentation, tracking, and follow-up until closure.
  
• Maintain proper records of policies, payments, and documents.
  
• Prepare daily and monthly MIS reports and reconciliation statements.
  
• Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and company SOPs.
  
• Support sales/relationship teams with product details, quotes, and operational requirements.
  
• Identify service gaps and suggest improvements in operational workflows.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce, Business, Finance, or related field.
  
• 1–3 years of experience in insurance operations (life, health, or general insurance).
  
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting basics, and policy servicing processes.
  
• Good understanding of KYC and regulatory compliance requirements.
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel and insurance CRM/portal systems.
  
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy.
