Description Location: UCHealth Inverness OrthoSpine Surgery Center - Englewood, CO. Department : Inverness ASC Operating Room FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). 6 months of OR nursing (RN) experience or completion of an approved perioperative program. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (or current AHA-approved equivalent). Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (or current AHA-approved equivalent). Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) CNOR Certification. Job Duties: Provides direct patient care to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures. Assesses patient’s condition, plans and implements nursing interventions, and evaluates outcomes of care. Collaborates with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care. Adheres to established policies, procedures, and standards of care. Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients. Documents patient care accurately and completely. Participates in quality improvement initiatives. May be responsible for circulating and/or scrubbing for surgical procedures. Other duties as assigned. Why UCHealth?
