We are looking for an Operating Assistant. As an operating assistant, you play a crucial role within the OK-team. You work at UMC Utrecht on the most diverse and challenging interventions, which means that no day is the same. • You perform innovative and pioneering operations and work multidisciplinary. Think of complex brain surgery and spine surgery, oncological surgery, thoracic surgery, transplantation surgery, Endo-Vascular surgery, and Da Vinci robot operations.

Together with the team, you look at what specialty fits you best, which direction you want to take, and what you need for that. • Cardio- and vascular surgery
• Orthopedics, urology, and gynecology
• General trauma and plastic surgery
• Neurosurgery, ENT, and oral-maxillofacial surgery
• Ophthalmology

• You have the CZO diploma Operating Assistant or HBO-VT/GT degree, or you are nearing completion of your training. It is also possible to combine work on the ward and in the OK.
