Job description
The network operator job consists in ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of military networks used for critical information transmissions. You intervene on digital systems, computer equipment, and servers, in liaison with command cells, cybersecurity teams, and operational units. You are a key player in managing military communications and protecting digital infrastructure.
A salary equal between men and women at the same post and hierarchical level.

To start your network operator career, the job includes :
- Military training takes place over six weeks at the Centre de Préparation Opérationnelle du Combattant de l'armée de l'Air et de l'Espace (CPOCAAE) in Orange (Vaucluse).
- Professional training is provided on the Rochefort air base for a duration of 5 weeks.
You will follow a paid training
The entry into the formation of a master dog parachutist marks your entry into this professional career. Even if you are not yet a diploma holder, you have the salary planned for this job during the training to focus on learning your new missions.
Becoming a network operator means :
- Ensuring the implementation and maintenance of information and communication systems, in service on defense bases, air bases, and certain isolated sites
- Participating in the deployment and maintenance of :
- Intranets and other telecommunications systems
- Systems, networks, and computer equipment (servers, workstations)
- Messaging and electronic directory systems
- Intervening in support of users
