CNC Machine Setter Operator

For a client active in precision mechanics, optics, and the watchmaking industry, we are looking for an experienced CNC setter for a temporary assignment. The position focuses on working with Bumotec machines, handling precious metals and complex parts, in an environment where quality and precision are paramount. The company is part of the industrial fabric of the Neuchâtel region and collaborates with demanding players in the jewelry and watchmaking sectors. The hired person will be involved in production with direct responsibility for setting up, monitoring series production, and adhering to high tolerance standards. Responsibilities - Ensure complete and autonomous CNC setup of the Bumotec type, respecting defined procedures and manufacturing plans. - Perform series changes, setups, and necessary adjustments on complex precious metal parts according to quality requirements. - Inspect produced parts using standard measuring instruments and document control sheets in accordance with internal guidelines. - Identify production deviations, propose setup corrections, and intervene quickly to ensure the stability of machining processes. - Collaborate closely with production and quality to ensure adherence to deadlines, tolerances, and finishing standards required by the jewelry and watchmaking industries. Profile - You have proven experience as a CNC setter in a watchmaking environment. - You ideally have prior experience in jewelry or the manufacturing of high-end components. - You are comfortable working with precious metals and technical parts. - You work methodically, precisely, and remain focused on product quality. - You appreciate a structured environment and are capable of following production procedures. - Temporary assignment initially.
