Job description
This air planning and coordination job is essential to ensure the fluidity and security of military operations in the air. The operator works in a command center within an operations center, in liaison with deployed units on the operation theaters. He follows the conduct of missions, updates tactical information, and ensures the smooth running of the command chain. He plays a fundamental role in the management of real-time time and the anticipation of unexpected events.
A salary equal between man and woman at the same post and hierarchical level.

To start your career as an air operations planning and conducting operator, the job learning includes :
- Military training takes place for six weeks at the Centre de Préparation Opérationnelle du Combattant de l'armée de l'Air et de l'Espace (CPOCAAE) in Orange (Vaucluse).
- Specialty training continues at Mont-de-Marsan for 5 weeks.
You will follow a paid training
After passing the entry tests, you are fully integrated into the forces of the Air and Space Army. As such, you benefit from your full salary during the entire duration of the training until the required certifications are obtained to start your job as an air operations planning and conducting operator.
Becoming an air operations planning and conducting operator means :
- Exploiting and processing information related to security and flight regularity ;
- Using transmission means ;
- Routing and processing flight plans ;
- Updating aeronautical documentation, situation tables, and operational activity follow-up tables, order tables, and air traffic registers.
