Locations: St-Jérôme, Québec for our night shifts (midnight to 8:00 am) or primarily on our 12-hour night shifts (4/3 non-rotating schedule).

Job Description: Under the supervision of the Production Director, the operator will have as their main mandate to participate in the manufacture of electrical cables according to the production modes of the factory.

Salary: Between $29.64 and $33.67 per hour, depending on the vacant position to be filled.
Responsibilities to Be Assumed Are:

• Operate a machine to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine parameters (e.g., speed, raw materials).
• Monitor raw material supplies to ensure continuous production.
• Solve problems that may arise during the work shift.
• Verify the product to detect errors or defects.
• Maintain production activity journals.
• Verify machines daily to ensure their functionality.
• Collect and identify product samples for quality control inspections as needed.
• Assist in setting up, if necessary.

Desired Profile:

• You have the ability to work in a team while assuming your responsibilities.
• Secondary education diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a machine operator or in a similar role (an asset).
• You have more than three years of experience in industrial production.
• Engaged and motivated.
• Ability to monitor machine performance (be able to follow and justify machine performance).
• Ability to work in a team and safely.
• Familiarity with a production environment.
